What does board certification for attorneys mean? It means that an attorney has experience, special training, competence and character to serve as an expert attorney in certain fields of law.

In the case of personal injury it means that an attorney is competent and trained to serve as a specialist in personal injury cases.

Once an attorney has obtained certification as a board certified attorney the attorney must continue to practice personal injury law and annually update his/her knowledge of personal injury law by attending seminars and by other means. We call this CLE points.

A lawyer can be competent in the personal injury field without being board certified but he can be more qualified and competent if he obtains that degree of knowledge necessary to be Board Certified.

Why not choose the best qualified?

Sincerely,
